BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Convertible (No. 001) - World Premiere! click for more photos ALPINA promoted the Worldwide premiere of their new BMW ALPINA B6 Biturbo Convertible ahead of the show by leaking a series of photos onto the internet. The new F13 based ALPINA 6 Series uses a new 4395cc bi turbo V8. Twinned to a 8 speed switchtronic gearbox. 500bhp (@5500rpm) and 516lb ft (@3000rpm) powering it to 60mph in 4.6 seconds and rocketing to a maximum speed of 193mph. The show car No 001 was in ALPINA Blue exterior with a Lavalina Cognac and Birch interior. The new B6 is the first BMW ALPINA to feature an Arkrapovic exhaust, and this was shown off in a large wall display and video on the stand (the 2nd video below). BMW ALPINA D5 Bi-Turbo Saloon (No. 003) - Suprise World Premiere! click for more photos ALPINA suprised the show with the Worldwide premiere of their new BMW ALPINA D5 Biturbo saloon. The new F10 based ALPINA 5 Series uses a new 2797cc bi turbo inline 6. Twinned to the same 8 speed switchtronic gearbox used in the new B6 (and existing B5 and B7). The engine produces 345 bhp (between 4000-4200 rpm) and 'in excess of' 479lb ft powering it to 60 mph in hard-to-believe-its-a-diesel 5.0 seconds and rocketing to a maximum speed of 168 mph. The show car No 003 was in ALPINA Blue exterior featuring Silver deckoset with a Beige Dekota interior. This car has been hottly anticipated following the success of the 3 Series based ALPINA D3 and D3 Bi-Turbo. Here are two videos we shot at the show of the new D5. Discuss it here !
BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo Touring (No. 050) click for more photos ALPINA obviously had the representation of the other cars in their range including a Brilliant White B5 Bi-Turbo touring, which featured Black Nappa Leather seats with White Piping and also Brilliant white interior trims. The B5 Bi-Turbo shares the same engine as the new B6 Bi-Turbo is slightly faster to 60 mph (4.5 seconds). The B5 Bi-Turbo premiered at last years (2010) Goodwood Festival of Speed. Discuss it here !	BMW ALPINA B7 Bi-Turbo Long wheelbased Saloon Allrad (No. 20) click for more photos The Black (Citrin) BMW ALPINA B7 Bi-Turbo featured Linen Lavalina seats with red piping and Piano black trims. The B7 Bi-Turbo shares the same engine as the new B5 & B6 Bi-Turbo. The Allrad is the first four wheel drive ALPINA 7 Series. Discuss it here !
