How many things do we take for granted or just make use of without thinking about it?

For the last couple of days, the "one touch" facility on my driver window hasn't worked when lowering the window. I've tried sitting in the boot whilst pressing four buttons on the dashboard for an exact 5.632 seconds, but it didn't fix it.

Then, yesterday evening I was closing the window and the switch decided it preferred to be in my hand rather than connected to the rest of the car.

The OSRWindow in my 528i is not working correctly at the moment. I think the electric motor has packed up. Something I keep meaning to look at.
