He summed up the appeal of an Alpina nicely - that dual personality is what I love about mine. It’s a comfortable family car but it’s also a fantastic drivers car.

Not sure he’s got the greatest car control in the world though. We’re used to seeing the controlled brilliance of a certain Mr Harris these days - that looked a bit wild in comparison!
