Looking for help

Post by Mr-P » Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:34 pm

Hi Guys,

Have not been on the site for awhile but after some local knowledge.

I am based near Leamington Spa and I am after someone to do some restoration work on my B10.

I am looking for a company that does a proper job, not one that I have got to revisit and redo in a few years
time, as I am not looking at moving the car on for the foreseeable future.

Thanks in advance.

BMR Performance or CPC Engineering are the two names that get recommended most often for ALPINA specialist knowledge and workmanship.

Thanks for these but too far away, I want someone fairly local so I can if needed pop in.

Hi Mark,

Good to see you back on the site again and I hope all is well with you.

I see your car has been off the road for a couple of years now and i believe you mentioned before that your B10 had sill and jacking point corrosion. Is this mainly what you are looking to get repaired now or are you aiming for a full body restoration?

All the best,
Jim

What about P L Carbodies in Warwick?
I've used them several times over the years for both my Alpina and M Roadster.

I'd pop down to Vastec in Warwick and have a chat with Geoff Forty. He's an incredible fabricator. For paint, PL Carbodies are also in Warwick, but they do know how to charge!
