Hi ,can anyone help/ advise ,
I need a new vacum pump on my B3 convertible part no 91 47 34 33 129 no longer available from Alpina.
Reason hard brake pedal on startup, all other related parts have been changed and a diagnostic has shown the pump not working

This is a common problem and once the car has warmed up, the brake performance is no longer compromised.

The part is made by Pierburg and used in a number of different cars - Volvo, Peugeot to name but two - but is extremely difficult to source and will cost £500 or so if you find one.

Mine hasn't worked for a long time and I have got used to the hard brake pedal issue which only lasts about a minute from cold.

I have a working one for sale that got removed from my B3 S convertible after converting it to a manual.
