I got a similar watch, sure I read they are not being produced anymore. I also have a picture of an ALPINA tractor which wont up load ( says internal server error), was taken at Buchloe in 2015 in the grounds of the factory.

I was having the some problem when uploading photos. I had to crop them to reduce the file size. I think any photo taken on anything more than a potato, causes an issue!

**EDIT** - I've just been playing around with uploading some photos. When uploading a photo, if you type '600' into the 'max. pixels' box, it seems to process the photo suitably.

D3 ski and other alpina stuff

Post by Simon Rose » Sun Nov 18, 2018 11:58 pm

I am very excited about the watch , love the 3 button job, who's the man to guide me on getting one?
MAy have to get an LSD first!

The D3 ski currently comes in Grey Red and Black also. Photo attached, ( did I choose the wrong colour?)

I await confirmation of the date of the firsrt D3 ski , the first D£car was 2006 . I suspect the car may be the winner but will let you know!

Would love a pic of the tractor please

In terms of the watch, I am not sure they are being produced anymore. However, the one I bought I got from John Lewis and a price match. I save nearly 300 pounds as showed the lady one on line which was cheaper, the store ordered it for me on line and had it delivered in 48 hrs.

It comes in a nice case with ALPINA embossed on the lid. The alternative might be watchfinder Uk, I have bought number of watches from them including a Breitling and an Omega.

The ALPINA watch is a Swiss movement and fairly smart, I only really wear it with ALPINA meetings as have other watches, but it's a great accompaniment.
