Some of us are real enthusiasts: therefore, we miss very little. And sometimes we can knit things together such as this being your previous Roadster

All the best

I think Sytner are just a trifle embarrassed to show images of what they're asking so much money for CB. Or maybe waiting for the dust to settle on purchase so we forget about it, here. Or their camera's broken :D

Wouldn't have thought it would be in a bad state given Alpina=Kate only had it a couple of months and was bought from a dealer
Autumn isn't the best time to sell a convertible
Great time to buy though

If someone really wants an RS and this suits their needs, any time will do as these are usable all year round if you stick winters on them as we did. Insulated roof, heated seats, dropped roof on sunny days .. not too much power that it creates traction issues. Readily available hard tops in sapphire black. There: I'm doing a better job of selling it than Sytner, but at over £18k it may take a while to shift a black on black 82k RS. Wonder if they'll put it back on Michelin at that price?

:D

I had a hardtop on mine, made the whole car more rigid and a pleasure to drive in the winter months.
Getting it off was a 2 man (person) job :D , and I found it a pain to store.

They've made it Red on Black in an effort to help it shift ;)

Odd. I thought it black on black! Glad it isn't: the red leather helps enormously and I'm sure it'll now be an overpriced sale hit! :D

It's down to £17k now, hope they're ready for the stampede.

Alpina-Kate wrote: Anyway, if anyone here is still on the look-out for a good Roadster S and doesn't mind paying Sytner's mark-up, then do go enquire. You'd be potentially buying yourself a decent car. But note the slight misting of oil on (I think) one of the front shock absorbers noted in the April 2018 MoT and the 'bubbling' near the air valves on 3 of the 19" Dynamic alloys (common, I believe). Also notice the depressed "Alpina" logo on the driver's seat, some wear where you sit on the seat, and the slight seatbelt wear. Also note there is an Aux lead in (that my husband fitted) which makes life a lot easier. There is just a slight bubbling/lacquer peel by the front silver grill (on the left hand side). Oh my God, I'm sounding picky - but it's hopefully a heads up for anyone who wants the car. And remember, you could have bought it through me first!

Quite some reduction from the starting point, and now about right for a warranted RS with hopefully all faults highlighted and cleared before handover. Shows how 'out there' the initial price was, though
