Sorry Hap, seen this now, yes agree with Mick there is no difference between pre and post facelift D3 F30 generation apart from the cup holder area which is vastly improved but that is the same for most standard stock 3ers.

I would say though that anyone who has (or has had) a D3 E90 generation and is looking to upgrade/update etc then the pre facelift F30 D3 is an excellent auto. There should be a few filtering into the system now/soon.

Easy 100k miles with just normal servicing, fuel and tyres.

Great cars

Looking at your signature you look like the man to ask about a D3 :)

I do think the rear light cluster is slightly different , if not that's a cheap facelift

I think this would be the cheapest face lift in the history of face lifts.

Maybe there were pre-occupied with developing the BMW ALPINA D5 S with All-Wheel Drive (My mate in the pub tells me that this will be the fastest series production diesel available today to order) and the BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo AWD

Hi no, maybe in the future, if they put the B5 engine in the next generation B3 that would be a very big itch.

It will be interesting to see what Alpina do in the coming years with engines as the pressure will no doubt be smaller hybrids. Who knows!
