Was for sale and unsold at £14,995 in November last year, reg number F959OEB.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E34-B10-3-5-Alpina-Rare-Manual-VGC-/131969315897?nav=SEARCH
Reading the advert shows this car, 7834, has non-Alpina suspension (Ibach springs no less!?) by recent choice, and the Alpina exhaust has long since gone. It does look very dirty under the bonnet - 30 minutes effort in their would work wonders for the presentation of the car for sale.
The seller is drawing a price comparison with the 59k miles burgundy car which was advertised at £19k last year..... but had been bumped by a trader from £9k just 8 months earlier! _________________ E24man

The incorrect V8 front spoiler strikes again! Anyone would think you couldn't buy the much nicer looking 6 cylinder version _________________

Afternoon,
E24man - Indeed the car was for sale year previously at £14995.
I struggled to decide what to put it up for this year. The specialist E34 market is difficult to be sure of but if anything on the rise. I'm not looking to give the car away as it's happy in my collection and I can find room ta
The car is approx 28 years old and has covered some miles so yes I have refreshed the shocks and springs with Bilstein and Eibach, rides very well so whats your point there?
Quite common to have to change an exhaust and just a shame the original Alpina exhausts are very rare, still sounds great.
Front spoiler I am very confident is also original to the B10 3.5.. (google images, the magazines I've got that came with the car etc), Where do you get that accusation from please Simon13? Seems you've made the same claim about that Green example that has just come up online that has the none original wheels and an auto box.. |

My point about the suspension was that it wasn't genuine Alpina, which is definitely still available, and is one of the key points that make Alpina different and special. The exhaust systems are sometimes available but less important to the 'Alpina' feel IMHO.
Simon is quite correct about the spoiler being the B10 4.0/B10 4.6 version. There are three different spoiler versions; the flat fronted B10 3.5, the B10 BiTurbo version with the intercooler cooling ducts, and the B10 4.0/4.6 version with brake cooling and alternator cooling ducts.
As regards your pricing, that's completely up to you but if you don't or can't sell it then putting the price up seems counter-intuitive, and I felt your comparison to the very low-mileage car was a stretch and I added the information about the grandiose price bump of that car as additional context.
