Ok - here you go the new D3 Bi-turbo Touring - world launch car:

So D3 Bi-Turbo - most of information was already known.

However to clarify - identical in looks to the B3 - so quad pipes.
Option of 19inch wheels (20's standard)
* Note 19 inch wheels are NOT an option for the B3 as the 19inch wheel/tyre combo is not certified for the B3's Vmax - only the 20inch wheel/tyre combo is.
The D3 gets the same discs and pads - Brembo

I got the chance to talk to one of main people behind the latest diesels and will pass on some of the insights I learned when I can think clearer !

Suffice to say there is c. 1 1/2 years development just on the D3 - as usual ALPINA takes the development very seriously and this isn't just a slot the D5 engine in a 3-Series.

Exhaust different to XD3

The D3 is Euro 6 compliant

Think that is about all I can think of right now !!

Some good pictures and details there. Exhaust different from XD3. I wonder whether it will still be an Akrapovic system? Can't quite make out from the exhaust tips in the You Tube clip Mac linked. I guess there'll be an upload to the Alpina You Tube channel soon enough.

An intriguing car that, look forward to more of your postings.
