which I'm in-process of sorting out. I knew she was on Pirellis, and in all honesty they were fine even at the limit, and none too noisy or harsh. So, I will have some decent 'emergency spare' rubber 
The interior is near-mint, a concern with the pale Lavalina, but there is just a bit of discoloration/dirt on the drivers door pull Lavalina, but that will come out easily enough. The rear seat back ALPINA roundels still have the protective covers on them, and the seats look unused
Liz had a longer test drive than I, but I drove all the way home. I did offer Liz a section of the drive as we split it into 3 with a couple of coffee/loo stops, but she wanted to 're-aquaint herself' with #168: and guess what? She doesn't want to sell her, now
Liz will do a long section of the run from Swindon through the A40 next week to get a better feel for #285.
Just shows what can happen if you make a plan
