I've been watching these but winced a few times 'I don't have the special tool so I use an air chisel' as an example. It's one of those where I'm interested to watch but wouldn't be letting anywhere near a car of mine! Very interested to see how the end job turns out

Simon with the B12 5.7 has a better approach and skill set

His methods might not be to everyone's liking but he seems to want to do a full resto and has certainly stripped the car down so good luck to him. Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Agreed it might not be everyone’s ideal way to restore it, but given his experience in E38’s and availability of donor parts, this is probably the only hope #006 has of getting a second lease of life.
