Looks very nice a bit pricey for the miles.

As far as I am concerned the only downside is the Hard top, mine was a real pain.

You need space to store it, and need two people with very strong backs to get it on and off :?

Yes, I thought the same about the miles but apparently the previous owner cared for it with no expense spared.

I’ll check it out and go from there.

Looks nice and I like the colour.

I was considering this car.

Apparently they’ve taken a deposit on it.

Sorry Sab - didn't see this earlier, it didn't tag me properly. Guy from Milton Keynes who owned it was called Alan Dewick. He was more active in the Facebook groups, he sold it through Motorway in Aug-22

I'm fairly sure I drove this car in Sept 2013 as it came to a meet we organised: it was during my custodianship of B3SBT #285, so know the timescale.. It wasn't as tidy as the recent pics, was definitely a pale blue B3 3.3 on a 51 and it had the timber inside. Plenty of dashboard lights were illuminated, interior was tired and very well used, and it had the awful E46 cabriolet scuttle shake at the rear making rear view mirror use at speed somewhat hazy. I have pics of the cars at the start and end of the meet, but this car was one of many that met us at the actual venue and I don't have any taken during the drive/meal etc to prove or otherwise it was definitely THIS car.

Bobs finding of the sad looking car may well be the link between what I saw/drove and what it became more recently. I've a massive soft spot for these, but the rear end shake on some puts me off: it's fixable, but not always by the BMW 'fix' of battery tray isolation.
Current:

23MY Cupra Born V3 77kW in Aurora

PORSCHE: Macan S, Cayman 981 S, Cayman 981 GTS

Thanks both.

So you may have noticed on the other post that I now have custodianship of this car and it seems to be in very good shape including the interior. It has a good comprehensive history including service.

I haven’t noticed the rear scuttle shake on this car but will pay closer attention the next time I drive her.

I have the full service kit and the gearbox oil service kit to do but may not get round to it until next year.

The rear shocks and springs are aftermarket so will need to replace them with oems and I may as well do the front springs as the front shocks were replaced 30k ago.
