thats got a rare trim on it, don't see those today.

Agreed -I don't think I know of another with those seats. The wood trim also is rare/ expensive (birch anthracite I think) rather then mahogany as described.

I bought it in 2009 at about 43k miles with the engine knocking due to being run low on oil. rebuilt the engine, drove it for the summer then sold it on.

In the ensuing years it was written off with a large impact to the rear (the then owner posted pics on here) and it ended up being exported to eastern Europe where it was repaired then re imported. I think it lost its category marker when it returned but looking at the current auto trader ad it has a marker on again so its marker has caught up with it or it has been written off again.
