I was just about to post this here!

I am pretty sure this isn't the first nearly delivery mileage Alpina to surface from Singapore, it would be interesting to know the backstory.

I would love that, even better than the Alpina Green that came through a year or so back.

There is a bit too much chrome for me but otherwise I really like these, they really suit Alpina Blue. It will be the last 7 with any semblance of elegance looking at the facelift that followed and the current monstrosity.

Can’t believe with all those extras they missed off the alcantara roof lining!

I would be concerned by the import implications at resale and the fact it has Porsche branded Michelin Super Sports on after 300 miles.

It’s not a direct comparison for Alpina, but there are 3 same shape approved used M760Lis for sale from 2018 with 20-30k for £50-55k.

Stratstone BMW had a very similar specification 2017 B7 for sale reduced to £55k in Nov 19 with 18000 miles but it didn’t seem to sell very quickly. I suppose it s a small market for the B7 and we are four and a half years on as that was only two years old at the time.

Considering the £115k list plus options, it could be a good buy for the 336 miles at £50k but not the 7 year age. Makes sense for someone wanting to keep it for the long term? Otherwise I would be wary bidding much above £40k.

I am probably miles out but it will be interesting to see where the bidding ends up!

That's overpriced for a UK car, let alone an import that has sat still for years.

It's also a long-wheelbase car, which to me detracts from the point of the B7. I've had 750i (swb) before and a B5 and I thought a G11 B7 would be a perfect combination of the two. The problem is the long wheelbase 7 is very long and not a car you'd want to be taking into UK car parks, it's really only suited for chauffeurs parking outside hotels and office buildings.

Also the M760iL which was only available as a G12 not a G11 is far cheaper (now £45k) and whilst slightly slower than a B7 comes with a 6.6 litre V12 twin-turbo and an amazing spec.

I don't think the G1x series B7 was available in anything other than LWB. The pre-facelift was RWD and the facelift was AWD.

I drive an M760Li (also only available in LWB although in the US it's called the M760i) and an X7 and both have their challenges to park but I find the width is more of an issue than the length.

It seems I am indeed incorrect, I always thought the B7 was available in both but the Alpina website does only have it as long-wheelbase. For the E65 and F01 they did both short/long, hence my assumption.
