This one sneaked through BCA Blackbushe today, offered in an online timed sale and now reportedly sold. Wonder if it will appear with a dealer in due course. Only made a Grade4 but because it's over 10yrs old there isn't a full appraisal.

Re: E60 B5 S #482
It looks neat! I'm driving an E46 B3 right now and looking to buy a new one. Do you think E60 B5 S would be a nice step-up? I'm not sure how much difference would it make. Also, I want the car to be shipped to my property in Germany, what is the best way to ship a car overseas? Never did such a thing before so I could use a couple of suggestions...
Re: E60 B5 S #482
It would be a big step up in performance and refinement. Best way would be to drive it over to Germany yourself. If it’s to be kept in Germany would a LHD not be more suitable?

That would make sense and perhaps the ultimate LHD step up here https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1357888
I think post Brexit shipping a car into Germany does attract VAT and Import Duty unless you are resident there and have owned the car six months (something like that, don't take my word for it). One would think finding an Alpina already in Germany would be the answer here - or buy in the UK and store it log enough to get round the rules.

Took a while, but looks like Brian's favourite dealer picked this one up from BCA back in July when it was sold.
