THE CAR HAS WATER INGRESS THROUGH THE ROOF WHICH HAS BEEN COLLECTING IN THE BOOT WELLS, CAUSING FAILURE OF THE AMPLIFIER. THERE IS NO AUDIO AS A RESULT AND THE LEAK WILL REQUIRE INVESTIGATING AND RECTIFYING

FYI - this definitely doesn't have Merino leather either although Sytner keep advertising it as such.

I've seen several F 3 series convertibles (BMW not ALPINA - not that it makes a difference) where the lower drain holes have become blocked and the rear quarter panels fill up with water. Above a certain level and it overflows into the boot which would knacker anything electrical in there. Sounds like a design fault to me.

As for the rest of the car - this one certainly doesn't appear to have been "loved and cherished" ...

That takes me back to my E30 days when the pockets behind the rear wheels wells used to fill with water due to failed rear light seals and sunroof drain issues
