E39 B10 3.3 #187
E39 B10 3.3 #187
Another B10 3.3, this one is up for auction next month. Pretty basic spec wise, can't see any options I don't think.
The description is shockingly bad.

Re: E39 B10 3.3 #187
where is this to be auctioned?
Re: E39 B10 3.3 #187
Agree about the very poor description, smacks of trying to look as if they know a lot and not really describing the car that well. Will be interesting to see what price it fetches.

Re: E39 B10 3.3 #187
E39 prices as whole seem to be all over the place these days, which would explain why you can get a V8 for cheaper than a 3.2/3.3 some days of the week and pay half the price of a V8 for a straight six one of the others.
I'm not entirely sure why, I wouldn't say the model has been 'slept on', the E39 has been praised by everyone since day one and they haven't exactly disappeared off our roads like the E28 and E34 have. People are paying astronomical prices for 540i Sports in both automatic and manual guise.
In my eyes, the sensible buys are:
- Early 523i Manual
- 528i Manual
- 535i Manual (seem to go for far far less than the few 540i Manuals that crop up)
- B10 3.2
- B10 V8
At least in Alpina circles it appears that until they make their way to a dealer, they're priced sensibly.

This is still bouncing round the classifieds. After failing to sell at auction it appeared with a dealer at £18k in mid-April and has steadily been dropping to the current £13k.
