This one is up for sale with Old Colonel. Looks tidy and a rarity in Maldives Blue, especially as one of the other 2 UK cars is showing as Exported back in 2018. The red rim stickers are a nice touch

It’s certainly the top end in asking price terms, whether it’ll sell remains to be seen. This one was for sale up in Yorkshire back in 2019 with a dealer for £20k. Looks like that was when it last changed hands.

That's what I'd expect, too. Certainly tops at £16-18k for top condition and colours and a good warranty. I guess he's testing the water with Spring and all those lovely top down trips out looming. Oh, hang on.....

Old Colonel mainly do consignment/Sale or Return deals rather than actually buying stock from what I've seen. Given the last/current keeper most likely bought this from the dealer in Bradford in Jun-19 they will be in for up to the last advertised price of £20k.

So I'd be asking myself why the rapid flip? Just doesn't like it? Reliability problems? Or financial problem?

I think trying to get the dealer margin back and an wedge extra for an overpriced car is going to lead to a long time in stock. Needs sensible numbers on it if they want a relatively quick turnover.

Soft tops do on average change hands about every 18 months. People seem to have a Summer or two then get bored and move on.

That together with Covid bringing financial restraints could explain the quicker flip, after all these are more of a second car/luxury toy after the family wagon, than your more practical Alpinas like a D3 or D5 etc which can serve as both.
