It’s a great looking car but the dealer is having a laugh putting a £10K mark up on it. No wonder it’s sitting around.

Hi I just wanted to say a massive thanks to this forum and you guys for pointing me to historic posts about this particular car. I've spent the last few months haggling and finally got it down to a price I was happy with. Plus dealer paid to fix a couple of things too, including an active cruise control fault that cost over £2.5k

I took delivery of No.013 today and went for a blast on some very familiar B roads. Quite amazed at the sharpness plus feel of the front end and the compliance on choppy road surfaces. Aside from the noise, I think this thing smokes my E46 M3 (with CSL airbox) in every way

Noticed the advert had disappeared ... glad it has gone to a good home, was expecting the dealer to have moved it on in the trade.

Yeah got it well below the £26,990 advertised price, but still above the £18k trade-in and subsequent trade auction price. It was great to understand the sale history from all the posts on this forum.

I'm satisfied with the price I paid and this will be a keeper next to my M3.

Well done! I’d have probably bought this when the original owner posted it up for sale, but I hadn’t long purchased my F31. It’s very discreet in green with 19’s and no stripes etc.

I’ve also been keeping an eye out for a decent manual E46 M3 coupe. I would love to find an Oxford Green example, which I know won’t be easy!

Thank you - are you Aussie? Or Aus based? I think I'll be taking this car home when I move back to Aus

Yeah the past sale prices seem like such a good deal. In the end, I just had to ignore past prices and make peace with what I was willing to pay. It's an interesting spec - very functional and discrete. Has all the driving experience options ticked, and not the luxury options.

Oxford Green with cinnamon interior... the holy grail of E46M3 colour combos. Mine is in Topaz Blue. Very boring in grey whether, but very special when the suns out.
