I like this one and colour combination is just right. £25k seems reasonable to me but not sure how it compares.

Quite a few D4's about at the moment and not much interest in them apparently. By my reckoning there's 8 Coupes and 3 Cabrio's.

Ah yes. I thought I’d seen it on here before but didn’t spot that thread when I had a quick scan through. I think it looks really good - maybe the second hand market is more enthusiast based and these people would prefer a Petrol?CaesarBob wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 2:26 pmPreviously discussed here Paul: https://www.thealpinaregister.com/forum ... &hilit=061

Re: F32 D4 BiTurbo #61
I think COVID has had an effect (surprise). In general most people are doing less miles so enthusiasts see it as the perfect time to upsize displacement/ switch to petrol. Might as well seize the opportunity while tax for such cars remains suitably low.ScooBeeFive wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 7:50 pmAh yes. Seems like it didn’t sell as not appearing on the sold lots. Unfortunately I didn’t see what the bidding finished at

Yeah I checked the result earlier too and saw it was unsold. Shame it doesn’t list the maximum bid once the auction finishes.

Re: F32 D4 BiTurbo #61
IMHO the swage lines on a F32 do not suit the stripes, the proportions just look wrong
Re: F32 D4 BiTurbo #61
The newer cars are definitely have more complexities to the side profile and don't quite pull off the decals as well as the older cars which are flatter and less shaped.
I think the G20 in particular struggles as the swage is above the handles and then the decal is below them.
I've always felt the door handle position on the G20 looks wrong and the Alpina treatment almost amplifies it, to my eye of course

Back up with another dealer in Aylesbury, minimal mileage increase since Feb-21. At least someone had the sense to remove the dekor.

Now up with a dealer in Manchester. Nice to see someone removed the fake carbon wrap on the dash trim and now the ALPINA wood is back on show. What is going on with those rear lights though?!
