F10 B5 BiTurbo #003

Post by Bob » Wed Oct 14, 2020 1:12 pm

This is a nice, subtle looking B5, seems to have a good list of options too: sunroof, heated front/rear seats and steering wheel, head up display, lane departure, embossed leather.

Love the embossed leather, seems reasonably priced too?

Pity it looks like a coal bunker inside. When there are so many interesting interior/exterior combo options available I don’t know why someone would spec a car like this.

There wasn't very much variety when most of the UK B5's were ordered. Of the 21 UK cars, I have specs for 20 of them:
- 8 have black leather,
- 7 oyster.
Then there are:
- 2 with Lavalina II and,
- one each of venetian beige, ivory white and silk grey

Great info Bob - does that include the Tourings?

Personally, I wanted a black interior as it's a daily car and we have 2 kids. As beautiful as the lighter interiors look, it would have been a lot of work to keep clean.

That was just F10's, below includes Tourings too ... but there's a further one saloon and one touring that haven't been spotted to date.

Thanks for posting that Bob. Of the LCI Tourings, mine was 2013, the Sophisto/Brown Lavalina was 2014 and I think there was a 2016 as well?

I assume it’s the last UK touring that’s missing but I won’t know for sure until it surfaces. 😀
