Re: E46 Alpina blue coupe 17k #040
hi guys love all the comments and points of view...this was my old car had a decent offer from a dealer so let it go bought of a friend of mine for very little and has at least 10k spent on it .Did not do it to make a profit but to keep the beautiful machine on the road, the paintwork is perfect it was a full glass out respray ,reading comments on the alpina facebook forum regarding the stripes i ordered a new set from bmw lol for £370 took about 6 weeks to arrive....,also have a brand new set of mats for sale on the classified page. For me the alpina badges looked better than the bmw ones and they were actually more expensive than the bmw ones ,All the purists would like to keep everything original ,it is a great car and one invoice alone is for 4k for all mechanical issues. The merc cosworth on that dealers page was also mine.anyone want some more info pm me glad to help

Looking back at some of the comments and retrospectively speaking. The amount you need to spend (speaking from experience) to take a good example and make it better is significant. This one does look like that exception that's had the love and attention imo humble opionion.

Re: E46 Alpina blue coupe 17k #040
You may well be right Rav. The problem was 2yrs ago, £17k was big money for a 3.3 Coupe but now we have seen #009 sold by Old Colonel for circa £16k with 75k miles (that car was apparently very original) so assuming the resto here is a good one, £17k could be achievable. There has also been three of the saloon's advertised in the last month or so for £12.5-£15k in unrestored condition and slightly higher mileages.
