Thankyou well there isn’t a time restriction on it now the pressure to buy “any” car has gone so it’s a waiting game now , I am thinking of getting a project car and doing everything to it chains suspension full rebuild etc but the white ones don’t come up too often Will have to wait and see what the eBay gods bring forth over the next few months

If it has to be white and manual, I reckon that limits you to about 13% of UK D3 BT’s.

There’s 34 I know of in white with a manual or unconfirmed gearbox, but:
1 x was Stolen not recovered
1 x CAT B after a fire
1 x Exported
3 x I’ve never confirmed what gearbox so could be autos

White will limit you quite a lot, there was only one D3 MT made in White (special order) or that only leaves BT's. These are the others I have seen recently. Nothing currently sub-£9k on the petrol side either.

Yeah that’s definitely the one , the guy said he wouldn’t sell it from his garage now because of the history, obviously he did know about it

If my assumption is correct, then #400 is about to come up again with a dealer in Nottingham. #400 was for sale privately from Sep to Nov-20 with 91k miles. It was advertised at £10.5k, then £10k but didn't get much interest apparently. This ad came up the other day and based on reg date, mileage, colour, transmission it seems a good guess (ad does say 1 owner but private seller said 3 owner?). I'd be surprised if the dealer gave more than £9k for it and going off other cars for sale recently, it'll be around a very long time at £15k.
