D3 F31 - Perfect colour combo? #47
Below D3 has caught my eye and seriously tempting me to dip my toe into alpina ownership. Its minus a few specs I’d ideally want but could get over due to the green with tan.
Looks to be quite strong on price based on what I can see others have asked for. Any opinions welcome / great to know if former owner is on here. Believe it was replaced with a new B3.

Lol, I thought as much.
Ball park figure of what a realistic price might be? Have a feeling my offer might offend them…

It’s probably a £27-28k car. I seem to recall someone saying it had been remapped at some point and that the deco set was fitted incorrectly. The colour combo is great, but the asking price is punchy.

Re: D3 F31 - Perfect colour combo? #47
Hi guys I’m the current owner of the D3 touring 047,‘it’s currently on my brothers site as I don’t really have time to deal with and certainly not any time wasters on autotrader etc so he kindly offered to put up for me…still not sure!
I purchased the car from friend who had owned from new and looked after the car meticulously and was garaged most of its life. I then took the car to another level as totally I’m OCD about all my cars so had ceramic coated etc among other things. The car is totally pampered and is only cleaned by detailer ..more so than it’s driven due to work! It didn’t come with the deco set from factory but this is something I liked so I purchased a set from Alpina but when I picked the car up was gutted to discover the fitting was off the exact factory spec still looked great though so decided to keep them on but these can be easily removed at any point as was obviously done after the ceramic coating..only true Alpina fans would notice this anyway
There will of course be different opinions on this but I’m sure we all know that any individual car will give out slightly different power outputs from factory and especially after different use so I have my cars tested so that power /torque curves can be improved on if needed. My car has NOT had
a generic map it’s was specifically Calibrated by Mike Ball on a rolling rd to simply improve and has no way been pushed and can easily set straight back to Alpina factory set at any point. Happy to provide any figures and more details if required and if anyone would like to drive at any point feel free to get in touch.
Again there will always be varied opinions with prices on all cars but I’m sure we can all agree you can’t judge a car or it’s worth until you see /drive it but I definitely won’t be offended don’t worry she is a special car and I waited 4 years after chasing my friend constantly!!
Yes my friend did purchased a new B3 touring in almost exactly the same spec and I will be the owner of that in a few years too if anyone on here has any questions about the car happy to answer direct so feel free to get in touch or comment/private message here.
Cheers Darren

Hi all, new to the Alpina forums. I've had one eye on this car for a while as I'm currently in the market for a high spec F31 335d or Alpina D3 Bi Turbo - naturally the latter appears to be as rare as you like (around 70-ish total were sold in the UK from reading this and related threads?). This one in green looks really lovely, but probably not quite in a spec I would sell my kidneys for. How often do F31 D3 BiTurbos come up for sale? ("how long is a piece of string"). Perhaps a better question, is anyone else on here with one thinking of selling in the next 6 months or so? I currently have a Clio 182 Trophy, so do like something with a bit of exclusivity and the Alpina would certainly have that over a 335d.

I saw this sold over the weekend, anyone from the forum?
Cheers.
Cheers.
