Lovely car but the rear end is needing a BiTurbo badge - shame they don’t do that anymore

They do still do the bi turbo badge, seems to be missing from this one, unless the first owner part debadged it
Most of Sytners tourings on sale have the correct badging.
You would have thought for nearly 80K it would come with the full set of badges :(

Personal choice but BXbiturbo always a mouthful and looked a bootlid load.....Always liked the subtle BX / DX names only...

Having said that, when the school fees end then a b5 Biturbo badged car would not be an issue :D

That's a properly specced B5, I love the two-tone Lavalina.

That would definitely be one to upgrade to in a few years time!

I'm surprised when people "tick everying" to presumable end up way over £100K new that they don't upgrade the sound system too?

I guess for most folk the upgrade to H/K is sufficient, you need to be a serious audiophile to justify another £3.4k (at current pricing) to move up to the Bowers & Wilkins setup, even on a £120k car.

Depends on preference.

I have a complete 5 speaker Bowers & Wilkins setup at home (4 x 804 and 1 x HTM1) driven by monobloc amps, yet I never ever switch the radio/stereo on when I'm driving.

Yes £3.4K is a heck of a lot extra! I just feel very rich, rather discerning (hence Alpina choice) buyers would want "the ultimate" in everything when upgrading a B5.

As Guy says - each to his own! Guy - how come you don't listen in car? I have a B&W system in my Volvo - it's extremely good - but nothing like a good home setup I guess - do you feel you'd be irritated by the compromises an in car set up has? Just interested.
