Alpina Roadster S Lux for Sale #307

Post by Number5 » Tue Apr 19, 2022 6:49 pm

Following the purchase of a Porsche Boxster recently, my Alpina Roadster S Lux is now for sale (#307)

It is a superb low mileage example and in tip-top condition, equipped with all the spec of the Lux pack and presented in Titanium Silver, whilst the black Oregan Leather is finished with blue and green Alpina stitching. Furthermore, the car benefits from extended leather windscreen surround, A pillars and sun visors plus a Royals refurbished Steering wheel in original style. Un-seen extras, include a Gaptech Roof Module, Bluetooth Audio link and a new and relocated roof motor.

The car is currently sat on 44,499 miles and is up-to-date on its servicing, having last had its Inspection 2, at RBM Hampshire last Summer and less than 1,500 miles ago.

The engine is a 3.4-litre E5/2 inline-6 unit, also shared with the B3 S (E46) and generates a power output of 300 PS (221 kW; 296 hp) at 6,300 rpm and 360 N⋅m (266 lb⋅ft) of torque at 4,800 rpm. Modifications to the engine include an Alpina specific cylinder head, crankshaft and high strength MAHLE pistons. The exhaust system is a stainless steel unit from Eisenmann with dual polished exhaust tips. Inside the car, Alpina modifications include distinctive purple Borg instrument dials, Embossed seats and leather dashboard, to mention a few items. Externally, the Roadster displays the unique wrap around rear boot spoiler, front splitter with the central "Alpina" name and beautiful 19" Dynamic Alloys, to which I've recently fitted a full set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres, all showing 6mm+ tread still.

The Car is located in Bristol (BS32) and available for serious viewings only. It comes with the full service history, the bespoke leather Alpina owners folder and two working keys.

Alpina only produced 367 Roadster S's worldwide, of which only 167 were made in RHD for the UK market. It is believed that only about 140 of these now remain and therefore it has become a rare and appreciating modern classic. In light of this and the fact that this is a rare sub 50K mileage car, I am looking for £20,000.

PM me or call me on 07707 66 two, six 77

I have to say that I'm surprised this is still for sale. When I had my one the market just a few weeks prior, it had almost twice the mileage and the asking price wasn't significantly less than this one. It was deposited twice in a matter of days (I'm sure you know the story behind the first one...) and I had a shortlist of 3 people that were chomping at the bit to be next should the deal fall through. To be fair I don't know if they would have amounted to anything but they did appear to be genuinely interested and offered deposits to hold.

To me, this one seems to be good value with the low mileage under its belt. It's possibly just a tough market with all that is going on with the world just now. Whatever it is I wish you all the best with the sale.
