Looks a nice example, although for what it's worth I am not a fan of dark interiors on dark coloured cars so wouldn't consider it.

I am surprised to see people asking about the VIN though as I have assumed that people interested in Alpinas on a site like that would be more skewed toward being enthusiasts and would therefore have done some simple research. Clearly not!

Looks like you’ve been getting a hard time from some of the questions on this one Rhodri.

Bidding has got stuck at £18k for the last couple of days, still 36hrs to go though.

Just had a read through after you mentioned it Bob. Some people! Very patient replies Rhodri.

How could the condition of brake discs be a deal breaker when buying such a rare car that looks in great condition? They’re going to need replacing at some point regardless. Unbelievable.

Sold for £23,000 in the end. Fair price all round I think. My D5 Touring was amazing. I shall definitely be back to Alpinas one day soon, but for now replacement is 577bhp S63AMG Cabriolet, which joins my SLS and GT3.
