Alpina D10 (E39) No 88
After 13 years of ownership I am probably going to sell my much loved D10 touring (E39). It's LHD (originally bought when we lived in France but now on English plates, 52 Reg) and done 230K KM. The car has got an MOT to June 2021 with one advisory (lightbulb for rear numberplate) which has been addressed. Proper service history.
Any ideas of approx value (?around GBP5K?) and best place to sell?
Any thoughts welcome...will try to upload some piccies shortly.
Cheers!

Perhaps try mobile.de or German eBay? I reckon it might be worth closer to £8-10k based on others listed.
Cheers

colour and spec, pics and transmission choice will help its valuing i'd say
E39 D10 BiTurbo TOURING #088
#088 Should be Alpina Blue with Black Montana Leather and Switch-tronic. Not sure on specific options.
Pricing is a tricky one, the only other UK Touring I've seen, #044, did sell back in 2018 with 110k miles. I last saw it advertised at £15k but i think the buyer paid less than that (£12.5k maybe?)

Thanks for the replies. I've posted some pictures below (sorry, not been valeted). Out of interest I tried WBAC but...it didn't fit into their pre-sets given it is fairly rare for UK. I am not sure EU sites are great at present given the restrictions on travel.
It's automatic with manual "buttons" on the steering wheel (touchtronic?).
I'd like avoid the tyre kickers/timewasters/risk involved in selling privately. Any suggestions for good auction sites which can handle the process (the Market perhaps)? Obvs if anyone on the Forum is interested, please PM me.
Cheers

WBAC struggles with most of the ALPINA's that were available new in the UK never mind imports!
If you are considering the auction route, places to consider would be:
eBay
The Market
Collecting Cars https://collectingcars.com/
Anglia Car Auctions (ACA) https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/
Classic Car Auctions (CCA) https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/
