I really appreciate it.
I’m really pleased to say the car is going to another Alpina owner/enthusiast so it will stay within these circles.
Best wishes to all and I’ll try my luck with a less exclusive brand for now (C63 wagon), whilst I save for a G21 B3.

I looked at the great photos in the detail link.
I emailed the detailers but no reply - to find out how they “lightly polished” the wheel hubs - looked really good. Anyone have an idea how to achieve this?

Mike,
When I did mine, I used a Halfords sanding sponge and then followed up with some Belgom Alu polish. Worked brilliantly.

The sanding sponge I used was the same as the above, but had brown faces. Not sure if that means it's finer or coarser.

As much as it pains me to do this, I'm considering selling #79 as my F30 still hasn't sold and I can't keep both for ever. If you're genuinely interested, drop me a pm. My F30 goes to a friends place on SOR next Wednesday, so would need to have an agreement in principle in place before then to save him collecting the F30. This is a head over heart decision and I'll probably slap some sense in to myself before too long!
