Bloo*y cockroaches

Post by markbannister » Fri Jul 26, 2013 9:09 am

Having a beer and snack in the hotel bar Wednesday night – small roach wanders across the bar in front of me.

Got up to go the loo at 6 yesterday morning (sorry if too much info.). Opened the bathroom door. Out walked the biggest bloo*y one I’ve ever seen, shiny and brown with huge antennae. Absolutely revolting. Took a couple of minutes chasing it around the room before I could dispose of it. God knows where it could have come from as my sink plug was in and shower drain covered. Can they come up the loo? Needless to say I didn’t go back to sleep.

Get into work yesterday, sit down with a mug of tea, and there’s another one on my desk trundling towards me.

Thank God I’m going home tonight for two weeks!

With `somewhere` in Aberdeen selling shots for 69p look out for a few `larger ones` crawling about

Not seen any out here but don`t doubt that they are not far away, the apartment and office are regularly sprayed ... have to be vacated for six hours !

Have a good `cool` leave.
