Two Alpina features in Autocar this week - “like the M5 CS, the B5 GT has an entirely carbon fibre bonnet - the first on an Alpina since the B6 S of 2007”.
I have no idea about the B6 S, but the GT categorically does not have a carbon fibre bonnet, it has merely borrowed the “standard” M5 Comp. bonnet with the odd looking bonnet ridges.

D3 S Touring - “I don’t think I’d spec a black finish on the wheels, which pick up brake dust more notably than silver ones”.
I don’t like black wheels but would have thought part of the appeal would have been the complete opposite!?
