Re: Sad news - accident in Germany
At first the "driver's" door looks relatively undamaged. Then I realised this B3/D3 is left hand drive and, from the video on the above link, the actual driver's door took a very significant impact from the Porsche.
Very sad for the drivers and their families. Cars can always be relpaced, loved ones not.

Very tragic, but as you say, cars are replaceable, lives however are not.
Looks like it’s a B/D5 rather than a 3 to me.

Re: Sad news - accident in Germany
Terrible loss of life, nobody could have survived that, perhaps the trailer overtook the Alpina and pushed it into the barrier.
Interesting to see the report states the road was closed for 2 hours, over here it would be closed for several days

Re: Sad news - accident in Germany
If I read this correct the ALPINA was towing a trailer with a Ferrari on it? There was a collision with a Porsche. Sadly the ALPINA driver died. I think in the UK the maximum speed for towing a trailer like that would be 50 mph. Its difficult to speculate when someone is dead, I guess the German accident investigators will find out exactly what happened?
