D3 and Alpina Original badges

Post by Kieron1978 » Fri Jul 22, 2022 9:57 pm

Hello
I am brand new and bought a silver 2007 D3 today. It has black badges on the boot lid. Can anybody suggest or sell original silver ones please?
Thanks
Kieron

Hi Kieron,
welcome to the forum !!

I am collecting my new boot lid badges tomorrow for my F30 D3 from my local BMW dealer. The car had shall we say a non genuine Alpina emblem which from a distance looked okay, but close up.. not so good. The genuine items are rebated for the adhesive tape and the aftermarket ones are not so they sit proud.

I emailed Alpina export who got straight back to me sending me the details for Sytner Alpina - the importer in Nottingham. 0115 934 1493 – Parts direct
Spoke with Peter Simmons and said I was able to go to any main dealer but if they had issues locating part numbers for the dealer to contact them.

So to cut a long story short and save you the time i spent... go to your local dealer but do sit down when getting the price.
ALPINA ... D3 BITURBO... the pair £230

You will also need both vins ALPINA and BMW.

Thank you very much Rob!

I did see there are 2 vins, that alleviates one of my concerns lol

I shall indeed ensure I am sat down! Hopefully as I only need the Alpina D3 and not the bi-turbo badge, it might only cost me £220 haha.

Thanks again
