Spotted you this afternoon John, heading east on the A93 at Milton of Crathes. I was in Anne’s Mini so you wouldn’t have seen me!

Hi Roy, I had been at a funeral at the Crathes crematorium then at the British Legion in Banchory and was on my way back into Aberdeen. First decent run in a wee while for the car but it was running great and improved as the miles went by. John

Sorry to hear that John. It’s a beautiful place though and so much better than Hazlehead. My mum passed away last year and we had her funeral there.
Glad the B10 got a run though.

It was for an old friend of mine who was our coach at the swimming club. Only 3 months older than me but started to get Altziemers/Dementia about 10 years ago, very young, but I met with him just before lockdown in late 2019 but have been unable to get to see him and he just went downhill fast over the last year and his physical health really failed him over the past few months but he was in a terrible place mentally.
Baldarroch is a lovely place to say goodbye to someone, that was the third funeral I have attended there, the first one being a work colleague who died of the same cancer I had. I agree that it is a much nicer place than Hazelhead.

The car ran very well as it has been getting only short runs recently and it felt much better stretching its legs a bit, even although the weather wasn't great on the way back. I find you also get a lot more in tune with the car on longer runs on these type of roads.

Hope you are all well and enjoying your new wheels. I hope to see it some time.
