I got an email from a customer of mine to say he had purchased B7 number 122. I think it is a Japanese import now on a 56 plate. Anyone got any history please?

He must’ve been the winner of the auction yesterday. Not much known about this afaik. It was fresh off the boat before being auctioned.

The new owner is a customer of mine. He was in touch with me yesterday. He is a petrolhead, I think it is fair to say and he often is on the track racing BMWs. He now has the technical manual and parts list which I sent him along with the oil filter notice. I am certain he is technically competent, which is always an advantage. The gent lives in Surrey not too far from me.
also number #111 is now in Manchester having been purchased from Khans Bradford. The newish owner is a collector and has a "few" ALPINA cars he says.
