Apologies, was driving past and caught it at the last moment!

Purple B3S Coupe spotted outside a local garage on Manor Drive, Wirral.

Is it for sale? Not seen any adverts recently for it.

That’s a bit pedantic Brian  It’s definitely in the accepted purpley spectrum of colours, rather than Alpina Blue for example that flips there in brighter sunlight.

Good job I didn't state it was Techno Violet or Velvet Blue then! :D

Unfortunately it wasn't there when I went past again this morning, so there's a chance it was there having its MOT done. On the passing glance it looked in VERY good shape.

EDIT: Yep, it had a fresh MOT yesterday!

That is lovely. I would love this as I also have a Viola metallic boxster - similar colour.

Fabulous colour. Is this something that can be specified on a contemporary BMW and/or Alpina as an individual option and if so, how much wonga is required?

Nothing pedantic about that Bob, not everyone knows the colour Mora, lumping it with purple is pedantic :D

Can see it was previously on the register and hasn't been seen 'on' the register since last year, surely an owner of a 1 of 1 car would pop in to say hi?!

Ah well, it's bloody lovely and I hope I see it out and about more :)

@Jonny I'm pretty sure BMW Individual will allow you to specify absolutely any colour given the correct amount of funds, plenty of examples of ///M Cars in the US in Porsche and Ferrari colours.

Not quite Liverpool, The Wirral is the other side of the Mersey! :D

Looks to be in good hands anyway.

Not the only rare Alpina that has had its home on our little peninsula, there was also the well known E34 & E39 B10 V8 Tourings belonging to Kevin here many moons ago.

And eventually it'll be home what is suspected to be B10 V8 #541.
