Best stuff to reapply lettering
Best stuff to reapply lettering
What have people used and found to be strong and secure
Re: Best stuff to reapply lettering
Double sided numberplate adhesive pads or Indasa double sided body tape (try ebay). Faff to cut to shape and size (making a stencil will help) but correct thickness and won't pull your paint off if you have to re-do or remove in the future.

Adding replacement letters that were new, but removed and held storage for a while. So they came with no template and needed the sticky adhesive to be replaced. Both ALPINA and B3S came from a forum member having already been applied to a vehicle but the removed soon after.
Original letters next to template backs Cutting out the template Original letters next to template fronts Copy of template on paper Placing the letters in the template Preparing Letters Boot area prepared ready with tap for lining up Letters being applied ALPINA! Time for the other side Old vs New B3S Finished took half a day to sort letters and couple hours to replace A good job from Hap thanks for sharing the images.

Well done Hap, that looks like it was a fiddly job, but you have to get it right otherwise it'll bug you for evermore.
