Refreshing the alpina colours on the engine bay B12, E38

Post by oldtimer » Mon Jun 05, 2023 11:41 pm

Long time lurker, First time poster (now that I finally got my hands on one!). B12, 5.7

The paint coating (or seems like plasting coating?) on the engine bay has some wear n tear and I was wondering if this is something that can be restored respectfully?

See attached picture, circled in red. Tried searching both here and google without any luck. So hopefully someone can direct me where to look or if its even doable. My mission is to restore the car as far as I can and I thought I might start here.

All help is gladly appreciated!
