Anyone else confused

Post by Mr-P » Sat Aug 29, 2015 3:39 pm

At the beginning of the year BMW said the numbering of the cars was being simplified to avoid confusion.

Odd numbers being for 4 doors
Even being for 2 doors

So why have they got a 4 and 2 door 4 Series,
a 4 and 2 door 6 Series,
a 5 door 2 Series to name but a but.

Must have been real hard for them to simplify this :D :D :D

I am waiting for a 2 door 5 Series and 7 Series or even a 4 door I8.
Now

2's & 4's are meant to be the Coupe/Cabrio's

However a 4door is a "Grand Coupe" and in 6series form, they are tasty

5 and 7 seaters in 2series form are now 2 Series Active Tourer's and Grand Tourers
