S85 V10 Engine in an E30 M3

I’ve seen a few engine swaps over the years for all types of BMW with American V8 lumps, Honda and Toyota engines too but this one surprised me, not because of the purist in me but a V10 from an E60 M5 in an E30, I’ve seen the V8 S65 before.

Not sure how it fitted in under the bonnet but it has done:

There's a similiarly engined red-M3 in the UK which the owner is now in the process of supercharging for a little extra poke.

Me E30 had to have custom engine mounts made up for it to lower the S38B36 engine by 20mm to make the bonnet close
Quite a few V10 E30s out there now the engines came down in price a lot.
