Happy birthday #049

20 years ago today I headed over to Sytner Stratford (East London) to collect E46 B3S Touring #049 - 3 delivery miles on the clock and the first name in the V5!

20 years and 385825 miles later and I am just as delighted with her. One careful owner and tonnes of love, care and maintenance - not forgetting some spirited use when appropriate :D

What an epic journey you’ve both been on, that’s brilliant. However these models evolve over time, it must be good knowing that the newer engines will never sound as good as the older ones!

Don't see why not - what would I change it for without having to find a large chunk of change down the back of the sofa?

Happy Birthday. Owning a car for that long does feel special. I do have a few years before 20 years with my B3 which will feel special to me, and mine was not brand new

Wow, Sytner Stratford. One of my first IT jobs was there not working for them just as a subcontractor
