It never was 'for sale'....it was 'Ade, do you want it, or no? If not I'm keeping' He didn't 'need' to sell but it was always going to be offered to me if he sold since the day he bought it. Dropped just nicely for us as a garage space had recently become free and I was looking for 'interesting' to carry 4 people in comfort. I did look at E90 M3's but just couldn't do it.....
I'm thinking of the one Classic Heroes sold a year or so ago then!

Fair play to be offered something as rare as that! Would love to have another Alpina, and at the time if a B5/B6 had of been available i'd of gone for it rather than the M5...

Yes, I remember a grey B3 Biturbo being sold fairly recently. Trouble is the turbocharger waste gates and fuel pump are a guaranteed PITA. On the S, they can be too, but less common. I was talking to a low miles S owner very recently with knackered waste gates....about 30k only, too.

There is something about those B5/6's isn't there? 8) The M5 is a lovely thing, though.

I debated changing to a B5, but couldnt find an S model at the time

Decided to hold onto the M5....

...and traded it in for a brand new F06 640d

I'm waiting for an F01 B7BT or something equally as mad to turn up for sale so I can trade in "jus an ole diesel"

Previous, hap. Useful keeping a number! We have a variety of sytner and Porsche plates to choose from with either reg :!:

I'll take a peek at your thread though, as I'm on my last decent rear plate with the sytner logo on it.

Thanks for heads-up, Ali. I'll drop him a message when mine get tatty.
I hadn't realised the business had changed hands.

As requested in a thread elsewhere, some gratuitous pix of the latest B3Sbiturbo to join us, E91 #127, 1 of 3 in the UK.

She was owned by a good friend (and occasional passer-through here) for 4 years who has looked after her very, very well indeed, and other than a few usual mile marks, she's pretty tidy for a 7 year old 48k car.

She's lightly optioned, with the pano roof, business loudspeaker, climate comfort screen, rear parking, piano trim w/insignia, sun protection glass, lumbar support and cd plus DAB the only options.

The previous owner had her fully striped prior to taking her on from Sytner Notts. I've swapped a few badges (at epic cost for the B3Sbiturbo badge ) which were aged and pitted, serviced the aircon and plan to get the wheels refurbed before the winter salt does any more damage where there are a few chips and marks...plus I'm not too keen on the original Sytner diamond cut tips which have a white 'halo' effect I've not seen previously. So off to Platinum in Swindon they shall go. Hatch is obviously a concern with the corrosion issue I identified, and if I get the go ahead and I'm happy with the potential quality of Sytner Cardiff's workshop, I may ask them to do the front bumper and splitter whilst in there to remove the worst of the road rash from the car as otherwise pretty tidy. Oh, and of course to sort that differential to a more suitable variety befitting a car with 400hp, 540Nm.

So here for you wagon loving perverts is #127. Enjoy, because we do 8)

Now maybe Onzie should add a few pix of #114 and we'll have 2 of the 3 in one post..... ...and if #72 was to crop up, too 8)

This is a beautiful wagon. I have space grey it’s a great colour.
How much were the new badges if you don’t mind me asking?
