I'll post some final details and instructions tomorrow.

Was planning to do this tonight but we ended up going out and so I've not got all the info with me.

I'm having a nightmare at work with emergencies and will be operating all night. I cant see me being free by early am and may not get out of work at all tomorrow! :(

If anyone is online tonight and is keen for my slot tomorrow then its likely to be free as i dont realistically think that I can make it at the moment.

I'm not happy as you can imagine!!!

Neil- I'll send you a text tomorrow am confirming this. You have my number

Agreed, awesome day was had.. gotta get me some of that drift practice now, how addictive is that? Incidentally, there are International drift competitions where cars race each other and get points for maintaining a fluid drift (with 600+ bhp monsters)!

Here's some action from Silverstone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp1YrGnTlOc

I have a few pictures and loads of video - just need to find a firewire cable!

Thanks again Neil for organising. Think I am getting the kick plate (that is unless someone messes with the controls on purpose!!) - but drifting - forget it! Instructors made me feel a little better - "clearly the car is so well balanced and stable it resists all attempts to upset it."

I think in reality it comes down to lack of talent on the drivers part.

As per suggestion a "drift" day may be in order!!

Great fun, would certinaly do one again. Could have done with more than 15minutes for the drift session (which gave me two goes), but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
Lots of smiles

Awesome snaps! :D

Is it possible to get hold of a hi-res copy of an image? I'm thinking an A3 framed picture may be in order!
