I've had phone conversations with both Sukh and Parmi and they are both very aware of the noise problem last year. I did tell them there was a lot of hesitant Alpina owners for this years event and a lot were put of Mallory Park because of it.
They expressed the same concern and have assured me there will be no music playing all day and both the Ultimate BMW Marshalls and the Museum Marshalls will be stopping anyone who try's to rev up during the day.
I've asked that they post on the FB group closer to the time that all of this is no acceptable.

Hi Mark

Not much else you can personally do about it and thanks for your efforts. I have got a ticket but apart from chatting to other owners the gaydon experience is one I have sampled many times over the years and in terms of the museum etc nothing has changed, even the chips and tea are the same.

According to Parmi Singh there are no spaces left for people to display ALPINA cars in the 20 space ALPINA area. Therefore, if you didnt get a display ticket its simply too late!

My understanding from reading comments by the organiser was that all display areas for all cars have been sold out and that only spectator car parking is now avaialble. Might be worth checking to avoid disappointment.

The organiser (Sukh) has arranged this for me but I haven’t asked whether he belongs to a club that he would like me to display out of courtesy of him getting me onto the display area.

If he hasn’t a preference then I’ll be with you all.

morning all,

So with only a month to go I'll confirm some details below.

The address is - British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwick CV35 0BJ

I will be on site for 07:30 as it all opens to make sure our space is ready and clear. We all need to be on site and parked before 09:00 to avoid having to move cars while visitors are entering. Gates open for visitors at 10:00
Tip for planning arrival time - there is well over 1000 cars being displayed and a lot of clubs arrange convoys so there will be queue's getting in. Last year cars were queuing back to the M40 so I would recommend getting in early.

We have the same spot as last year, so as you come down the hill into the main car park we are at the left front of the car park toward the museum entrance. Both Parmi and Sukh really appreciate ALPINA and want us in prime position.

We have a mix of cars this year ranging from E30's to B5's so i am going to try and put the more mature cars at one of the display and the more modern cars at the other end. To show a bit of evolution, BUT, this all depends when people arrive etc.

I am on Holiday from 28th March until 13th April - so any questions between now and then go to the Facebook group "Ultimate BMW" and ask them directly.

Looking forward to the first big show of the year, see you all soon.

Question what is the earliest time we can get in? I have been before and found that the gates were shut and had to queue outside.

Morning Norman,

Just back off holiday all so will get through any questions. Earliest arrival time is officially 07:30 but I'm sure you'll be able to get in from 07:00.
