Morning all,
Thought I'd share quickly a Breakfast meet I went along to on Sunday. It's with a group/club called Petrol Heads. I think it started as a group of American muscle cars meeting up but then grew as more people wanted to attend. This Sunday was the monthly bigger meet in Runnymeade and there must have been 400 cars there by 10am. Everything from Mustangs to McLaren's.
Also met Sandz who drives a 2009 B3 Biturbo,

Its a monthly thing and I'm sure will only get bigger as the weather warms up.Jules Sunleu wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 11:34 amTotally forgot about this event having been previously. Next year!
Word of warning, for anyone thinking of attending, it can be a nightmare to get out of the car park. The exit barrier is number plate recognition and of course a lot of the classic of American cars can't be read by the machine. The queue was so long to get out on Sunday, I paid at the machine and by the time I got the barrier I had to pay again. I think the organizers are talking to the council, but there is no way they are going to make it free parking. Not when this one meet generates over a grand in parking fee's alone.

Re: Petrol Heads Breakfast meet Runnymeade
Ah! I didn't realise that, thanks for setting me straight. Someone at my car club mentioned it when I went the other year and I had wrongly assumed it was annual. The car park was an issue when I was there too - in the end they had someone official manning the barrier letting people out as it did take ages. I remember wishing I was on one of my bikes at that point as I could have skirted around it.Wellsy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 1:25 pmIts a monthly thing and I'm sure will only get bigger as the weather warms up.Jules Sunleu wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 11:34 amTotally forgot about this event having been previously.
