BMW on the Lawn - Weston Super Mare 5 June 22

Organised gathering with small entrance fee on the grassed area opposite the sea front, 2 minutes from Beach and 5 mins for local attractions. All ALPINA owners welcome or any other BMW. The normal have a show and shire and a raffle. Attracts many owners from South West, Wales, Midlands and South Coast, However, all welcome. In previous years we have had people from Lincolnshire, Scotland and East Anglia attend, some make a weekend of it.

The date for BM's on the Lawn is Sunday 5th June 2022.

A great show/gathering hosted by BMWCC Western Region it is well organised plus an ideal location.

Thoroughly recommend, I have been going for years.

Have been a number of times from when it first started. Many different BMW models of all age from a wide geographical pool. Weather is a key factor but we have mostly been fortunate.

It's a lovely little event. Right next to the beach on grass lawns. Nicely timed in the summer and lots to look at. Refreshments nearby too at the beach cafe.

BMW CC cars. Usually lots of Ms. Some modified cars. Few Alpinas. The occasional odd model like a Hartge or Schnitzer. We had an Alpina Roadster V8 show up one year. Usually 1-3 CSLs...some newer models too.

I actually live fairly close so I nearly always go. I can get up late...wash the car...and still get there with plenty of time to spare.

No 5 am starts for me :)

I hope there will be a strong Alpina presence this year?

Not staying local Norman so can not recommend anything, going up to Bristol after the meet for a few days.

Brian ok understood, I have stayed around Bristol many times so have plenty to choose from there. I have not stayed at WSM.

The cafe over the road is good for lunch. Its built on a small pier so nice views and atmosphere.
