Caffeine and Machine - Wednesday 21st July

Post by ScooBeeFive » Wed Jul 14, 2021 10:30 pm

It's the monthly German night (Strassenkultur) at C&M next Wednesday, from 17:00 onwards. I'm going to head down if anyone else fancies it?

Hi ScooBeeFive,

Myself and a neighbour will be there. I'll be in my D4 #069 and my mate will be in his M3 but trying to persuade him to take his Alpina Sportster. We'll look out for the B5 touring.

I go there most Thursdays as it’s nice drive out for me but unfortunately I’m holidaying next week in Woburn so won’t be able to make it.🙄

Thanks for posting as I hadn't though about this. I'm travelling from Reading to Scunthorpe that evening so have just booked for this at C&M as a stop on the way.

Be nice to get E61's 007 and 010 together again as well as with the other Buchloe specials.

I likely won't arrive until 6.30pm/7pm so hope you guys will be hanging around for a bit.

Hi, its a birthday meet up for someone I know on the Thursday daytime not too far from Scunny so going up the night before and coming back Thursday evening. I thought it would be good to stretch the B5's legs a bit and get away from the home office for a day after being mostly stuck in here since last March.

Thinking I may swing past Sytner Nottingham on the way home for a quick photo under the Alpina sign although likely it will be after they have closed for the day. I had originally planned on leaving earlier on the Wednesday and popping to Sytner on the way up but Wednesday is the rearranged date for the eldest's Prom' so I get to see her dressed up before I leave and a stop at Caffeine and Machine seems a great plan hence why I won't get there until 6.30/7 as she's heading off to her friend's house about 5pm.

Wow, looks like we will have a good turnout!

While everyone is always keen to park outside the building, or up on the grass bank, shall we aim for one of the areas round the back with the hope we can park together? I guess we can always have a shuffle round when everyone is there.

Really looking forward to this now. :-)

Sounds like a plan! I'm aiming to get there close to 5pm but never been before so happy to be instructed. If you need my mobile number then PM me 😀
