Bicester Heritage Brand Event meet 18th-20th Sept 2020

I was at this event as part of the BMW CCGB stand last weekend, over the days we saw a number of ALPINA cars displayed. I did not take pictures and would not post them as I do not have the owners permission. There was a very nice E39 touring owned by a gent from Amersham and a B9 3.5 in red by a chap called Mark. He explained the car was almost written off previous when it was hit by a flying fence panel which became detached for the vehicle it was on, fortunately now all rectified.

There was also a very nice Blue E30 touring owned by a chap who runs a bar at the site, whilst not on the display it was rare for me to see to E39 touring ALPINA in one day at the same location.

It was a fairly interesting event despite Covid regs, a fair few car clubs including the Gay car Club and the Afro Caribbean car club, so something for everyone. There was some track action with Ford Escorts, M3 E30, Purgeot 1.6 and some Scoobies around the track . Bonhams auctions free to look on the first two days and the heritage individual garages.

Dry, Sunny, but chilly on the Airfield of the former RAF site. I did my Services Cinematic course there in the 70s, glad to say the toilets have improved!
