Thanks for letting us know Jules, better to know now than later. I just hope Abanko gets to know this with his intended long journey from Notts.

Barry, do you still fancy meeting up somewhere local for a coffee / breakfast and a chat?

Welcome chap, and good point so I've just sent Abanko a PM as I think you get alerts for these in case not for the main forum posts.

Cheers,

Many of you know I live not too away in West Sussex. When they have these breakfast events they are normally very well attended. However unless one is displaying the parking is in a field(s) outside the circuit. These and many around this are are saturated. In the past they moved the parking up to higher ground near the horse race circuit. Then they laid on busses to transfer people down to the track for the cars. I can only speculate that area was also under water too?

Pity it was a nice sunny day, I went over to an event in Chatham Kent, a few ALPINA cars there.

A great shame, but not altogether surprising. It's not really a revenue generator for them, beyond a few bacon sandwiches, and I quite imagine how much damage could be inflicted in the parking fields, prior to ( or not as the case may be #covid ) the Members Meeting.

On that front, the B10 is booked in to be parked up on Lavant Bank on the Sunday if anyone is making it. Pressure to get the next few rolling resto jobs (see separate thread in main forum) completed.

As for October, we will see, I very much hope to have my Pantera back from some serious restoration work by then.
